Mineral Mine Safety Act or "Act" shall mean this chapter and Chapters 14.5 (§ 45.1-161.293 et 849 seq.) and 14.6 (§ 45.1-161.304 et seq.) of this title, and shall include any regulations promulgated 850 thereunder, where applicable.

  • Waste prevention means source reduction and reuse, but not recycling.

  • Health and Safety means, in relation to a recipient or a third person, the prevention of death or serious personal injury,

  • Environmental Regulations means any federal, state or local law, statute, code, ordinance, regulation, requirement or rule relating to dangerous, toxic or hazardous pollutants, Hazardous Substances or chemical waste, materials or substances.

  • Data Protection Regulation means Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 20161 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation);
