Major source of hazardous air pollutants means a facility that emits or has the potential to emit, in the aggregate, 10 tons per year (tpy) or more of any Hazardous Air Pollutant (HAP), 25 tpy or more of any combination of HAPs, or such lesser quantity as the EPA may establish by rule.

  • Toxic Substance includes but is not limited to asbestos, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and lead-based paints.
