Lowest responsible bid or proposal definition

Lowest responsible bid or proposal means, as determined in the sole discretion of the Board, the bid (i) is submitted by a person or firm capable and qualified in all respects to perform fully the contract requirements who has the integrity and reliability to assure good faith performance, (ii) is responsive to the Invitation to Bid or Request for Proposal as determined by the Board, and (iii) which is for a cost to the District deemed reasonable by the Board. Minor variations in the proposal may be waived by the Board. Mistakes in arithmetic extension of pricing may be corrected by the Board. Bids may not be modified after opening.

  • Lowest responsible bidder or vendor means the bidder or vendor: (1) whose response to a request for bids offers the lowest price and is responsive; and (2) who is responsible.

  • Responsive Bidder or Offeror means a person who submits a bid or proposal which conforms in all material respects to the invitation for bids or request for proposals.

In determining whether an entity or individual is a Responsive and Responsible Bidder (or Vendor), the District may consider, in addition to factors described in the Invitation to Bid, Request for Proposals, Invitation to Negotiate, or Competitive Solicitation, the following:

  • Responsive bidder means a person who has submitted a bid that conforms in all material respects

  • Transaction Proposal has the meaning specified in Section 8.02(c).

  • Request for Proposal (RFP means the solicitation document issued by Purchasing to potential vendors for the purchase of equipment, supplies, and/or services as described in the document. The definition includes these Terms and Conditions as well as all Pricing Pages, Exhibits, Attachments, and Addendums thereto.

  • Notice of Superior Proposal has the meaning set forth in Section 5.09(e).

  • Request for Proposal or RFP means all documents, including those attached or incorporated by reference, used for soliciting proposals.

  • Unsolicited proposal means a written proposal for a public-private initiative that is submitted by a private entity for the purpose of entering into an agreement with the department but that is not in response to a formal solicitation or request issued by the department.

  • Competitive Bid Accept/Reject Letter means a notification made by a Borrower pursuant to Section 2.03(d) in the form of Exhibit A-4.

  • Bid Proposal or “Proposal” means the bidder’s proposal submitted in response to the RFP.

  • Responsible Respondent means a Respondent that has the capability in all material respects to perform the scope of work and specifications of the Contract. In determining whether a Respondent is a Responsible Respondent, the Agency may consider various factors including, but not limited to, the Respondent’s competence and qualifications to provide the goods or services requested, the Respondent’s integrity and reliability, the past performance of the Respondent and the best interest of the Agency and the State.

  • Request for Proposals or “RFP” means all documents, including those attached or incorporated by reference, used for soliciting proposals.

  • Interconnection Request means a Generation Interconnection Request, a Transmission Interconnection Request and/or an IDR Transfer Agreement.
