Laundry Person definition
Laundry Person means an employee who is required to do washing and/or ironing and any other function in a laundry.

A. Night Shift/Duty Hospital: $8.22 per 8 hour shift (with the exception of Registered Nurses) Rest Home: $14.90 per 8½ hour shift B. Weekend Allowance $1.58 per hour up to a maximum of $10.56 per shift for shifts commencing between 7am Saturday and 10.45pm Sunday for all positions with the exception of Registered Nurses.

Weekend Allowance $2 per hour for shifts commencing between 7am Saturday and 10.45pm Sunday for all positions with the exception of Registered Nurses. NB: A Health Care Assistant working night duty on a Saturday and a Sunday will receive the night duty allowance and is not eligible to receive the weekend allowance. Only one, the higher, allowance will be paid on Saturday and Sunday Night Duty.
