Where the Chief of Police or his designate assigns a constable, who meets the requirements as determined through the Expression of Interest submission, to the Criminal Investigation Branch (which only includes General Assignment, Sexual Asssults, High Risk Offender Manager, Missing Person Coordinator, CID Fraud, Cyber Crime, Intelligence, Drugs and BEAR units), such Constable shall receive his normal rate of pay for the first twelve months on his/her assignment - referred to as Year 1.

The Missing duties/responsibilities of the Police will be overseen by their designated Missing Person Co-ordinator.
