Judicial Branch Entities definition

Judicial Branch Entities means any California superior or appellate court, the Judicial Council of California, and the Habeas Corpus Resource Center.

  • Without limiting the foregoing, Contractor shall use best efforts and all necessary precautions to prevent the introduction and proliferation of any Malicious Code in the Judicial Branch Entities' IT Infrastructure or networks or in the Contractor systems used to provide Work.

  • Contractor must require insurance from its Subcontractors in substantially the same form as required of the Contractor herein and with limits of liability that are sufficient to protect the interests of the Contractor, State of California, the Judicial Council, the JBE, and the Judicial Branch Entities.

Judicial Branch Entities or “JBEs” means the Judicial Council and any other California superior courts.

In the case of a trust, such term means the settlor, the trustees, the protector (if any), the beneficiaries or class of beneficiaries, and any other natural person exercising ultimate effective control over the trust, and in the case of a legal arrangement other than a trust, such term means persons in equivalent or similar positions. The term “Controlling Persons” shall be interpreted in a manner consistent with the Financial Action Task Force Recommendations.
