Joint Service Employee definition

Joint Service Employee means "teacher" as defined elsewhere in this Contract and a bargaining unit employee who is assigned to any Special Education joint service and supply program in which the Corporation participates.
Joint Service Employee shall have the meaning set forth in Section 14.2(a) of this Agreement.

Examples of Joint Service Employee in a sentence

  • Each NTELOS Restricted Stock Award outstanding under the NTELOS Stock Plans at the Distribution Time which is held by any person other than a Wireline employee (and other than a Joint Service Employee) shall remain an NTELOS Restricted Stock Award issued under the NTELOS Stock Plans (each such award, a “Remaining NTELOS Restricted Stock Award”).

  • Additionally, each such Joint Service Employee shall receive as of the Distribution Time an option to purchase shares of Wireline Common Stock (each such option, a “Joint Service Employee Wireline Option”) pursuant to the terms of the Wireline Equity Incentive Plan subject to terms and conditions after the Distribution that are substantially similar to (to the extent practicable) the terms and conditions applicable to the corresponding NTELOS Option immediately prior to the Distribution.

  • The Parties acknowledge and agree that blackout periods may be implemented with respect to the Remaining NTELOS Options, the Wireline Options, the Delayed Transfer Wireline Options, the Joint Service Employee Remaining NTELOS options and the Joint Service Employee Wireline Options for administrative reasons in accordance with the terms of the NTELOS Stock Plans or the Wireline Equity Incentive Plan, as applicable.

  • Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, each Joint Service Employee Wireline Option and Joint Service Employee Remaining NTELOS Option held by a Joint Service Employee will remain outstanding pursuant to its terms and shall not be adjusted in the event the Joint Service Employee becomes a Delayed Transfer Employee and/or an NTELOS Delayed Transfer Employee.

  • Each Joint Service Employee Remaining NTELOS Option shall be subject to the same terms and conditions after the Distribution as the terms and conditions applicable to the corresponding NTELOS Option prior to the Distribution.

  • Each Joint Service Employee Remaining NTELOS Restricted Stock Award shall be subject to the same terms and conditions after the distribution as the terms and conditions applicable to the corresponding NTELOS Restricted Stock Award prior to the distribution.

  • Service employee, as used in this clause, means any person (other than a person employed in a bona fide executive, administrative, or professional capacity as defined in 29 CFR 541) engaged in performing a District contract not exempted under 41 U.S.C. §356, the principal purpose of which is to furnish services in the United States, as defined in section 22.1001 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. It includes all such persons regardless of the actual or alleged contractual relationship between them and a contractor.

  • Supported employment services means provision of job training and supervision available to assist an individual who needs intensive ongoing support to choose, get, and keep a job in a community business setting. Supported employment is a service planned in partnership with public vocational assistance agencies and school districts and through Social Security Work Incentives when available.

  • Retained Employee does not include any individual who has a direct or an indirect ownership interest of at least five percent (5%) in the profits, equity, capital, or value of the Taxpayer, or a child, grandchild, parent, or spouse, other than a spouse who is legally separated from the individual, of any individual who has direct or indirect ownership interest of at least five percent (5%) of the profits, equity, capital or value of the Company.

  • Service Recipient means, with respect to a Participant holding a given Award, the member of the Company Group by which the original recipient of such Award is, or following a Termination was most recently, principally employed or to which such original recipient provides, or following a Termination was most recently providing, services, as applicable.

  • Ongoing employee means an employee who has been employed for at least one complete standard measurement period.

Customized employment is based on an individualized determination of the strengths, needs, and interests of the person with a disability and is also designed to meet the specific needs of the employer. Customized employment may include employment developed through job carving, self-employment or entrepreneurial initiatives, or other job development or restructuring strategies that result in job responsibilities being customized and individually negotiated to fit the needs of the individual with a disability. Customized employment assumes the provision of reasonable accommodations and supports necessary for the individual to perform the functions of a job that is individually negotiated and developed.

  • Subcontractor employee, as used in this clause, means any officer, partner, employee, or agent of a subcontractor.

  • Owner-Employee means a Self-Employed Individual who is a partner and owns more than 10% of either the capital or profits interest of the partnership.

  • Cloud Service Provider or CSP means a company or organization that offers some component of cloud computing – typically Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS) or Platform as a Service (PaaS) – to other businesses, organizations or individuals.

  • Contractor employee means prime Contractor and subcontractor employees who require agency access to perform work under a CMS contract.

  • Telecom Service Provider means any Telecom operator in India, who is licensed by the Department of Telecommunications (DOT), Government of India to provide telecom services to the general public or to the other DOT licensed Telecom operators. "Telecom Service Provider" also refers to any Telecom operator in other countries providing telecom services to general public of that country or to other telecom operators of the same country.

  • Prime Contractor employee, as used in this clause, means any officer, partner, employee, or agent of a prime Contractor.

  • Newly hired employee or “New Hire” means any employee, whether permanent, full-time, or part-time, hired by the Office and who is still employed as of the date of new employee orientation. It also includes all employees who are or have been previously employed by the Office and whose current position has placed them in the bargaining unit represented by CSEA.   • Tipped employee means any employee engaged in an occupation in which s/he customarily and regularly receives more than $30 per month in tips. Tips include amounts designated as a tip by credit card customers on their charge slips. Nothing in this rule prevents an employer from requiring employees to share or allocate such tips or gratuities on a pre-established basis among other employees who customarily and regularly receive tips. Employer-required sharing of tips with employees who do not customarily and regularly receive tips, such as management or food preparers, or deduction of credit card processing fees from tipped employees, shall nullify allowable tip credits towards the minimum wage.

  • Sub-Service Provider means any person / firm / Organization / company /entity (other than the Service Provider) and it’s legal representatives, successors and permitted assigns named in the Contract as a Sub-Service Provider for a part of the Services or to whom a part of the Services has been sub-Contracted with the written prior consent of the Employer.

  • Authorized Employee means an employee of Processor who has a need to know or otherwise access Personal Data to enable Processor to perform their obligations under this Addendum or the Agreement.

  • Affiliated employee means any individual employed by a recipient who receives compensation directly from government assistance or a contract with the District of Columbia government, including any employee of a contractor or subcontractor of a recipient who performs services pursuant to government assistance or a contract. The term “affiliated employee” does not include those individuals who perform only intermittent or incidental services with respect to the government assistance or contract, or who are otherwise employed by the contractor, recipient or subcontractor.

  • Employment Services means "employment services" as defined in OAR 411-345-0020.

  • Academic employee Academic employee shall mean an employee in the Professional Services Negotiating Unit with academic or qualified academic rank.

  • Employer as defined in Section 3(5) of ERISA.

  • Third Party Service Provider means any consultant, agent, advisor, or independent contractor who renders services to the Company, a Subsidiary, or an Affiliate that (a) are not in connection with the offer and sale of the Company’s securities in a capital raising transaction, and (b) do not directly or indirectly promote or maintain a market for the Company’s securities.
