ITS project definition

ITS project means the Intelligent Transportation System project undertaken by El Dorado County Department of Transportation.
ITS project means any ITS project that implements part of a regional ITS initiative that is multi-jurisdictional, multi-modal, or otherwise affects regional integration of ITS systems. Additions (DMS, cameras, sensors, etc.) to existing ITS systems (Frankfort TOC, TRIMARC, etc.) will not be defined as Major ITS Projects.

  • With respect to any ITS project financed with Federal assistance derived from a source other than Highway Trust Funds (including funds from the Mass Transit Account) or 23 U.S.C. 517(d), the Contractor assures that is will use its best efforts to ensure that any ITS project it undertakes will not preclude interface with other intelligent transportation systems in the Region.

  • With respect to any ITS project financed with Federal assistance derived from a source other than Highway Trust Funds (including funds from the Mass Transit Account) or SAFETEA-LU, 23 U.S.C. 502 note, the Contractor assures that is will use its best efforts to ensure that any ITS project it undertakes will not preclude interface with other intelligent transportation systems in the Region.

  • All other regions not currently implementing ITS projects shall have a regional ITS architecture within four years of the first ITS project for that region advancing to final design.

  • While procedures are being revised to facilitate this increased collaboration and cooperation, the Design-Build Firm is required to ensure that the design and construction of each ITS project and each landscape project is entirely coordinated with existing and proposed ITS facilities and landscapes.

  • Solar PV Project means the solar Photo Voltaic Power project that uses sunlight for direct conversion into electricity through Photo Voltaic technology.
