Evidence-based practice means programs or practices that are supported by research methodology and have produced consistently positive patterns of results when replicated within the intent of the published guidance.
Evidence-based practices means policies, procedures, programs, and practices proven by scientific research to reliably produce reductions in recidivism;
OPD treatment means the one in which the Insured visits a clinic / hospital or associated facility like a consultation room for diagnosis and treatment based on the advice of a Medical Practitioner. The Insured is not admitted as a day care or in-patient.

Incurrence-Based Amounts has the meaning assigned to such term in Section 1.07(b).
Age-based discount means a discount offered on selected hospital policies for persons and/or their partners aged between 18 and 29. The discount is two per cent for each year that the person is aged under 30, to a maximum of 10 per cent. Providing the person remains on an applicable hospital cover, they are entitled to the discount until they turn 41 at which time the discount will decrease at the rate of two per cent per year for up to five years, so that no age-based discounts are available after the age of 45.
Performance-Based Award means any Restricted Stock Award, Restricted Stock Units, Performance Share Award or Cash-Based Award granted to a Covered Employee that is intended to qualify as “performance-based compensation” under Section 162(m) of the Code and the regulations promulgated thereunder.

Fiber-based Collocator means any carrier, unaffiliated with CenturyLink, that maintains a Collocation arrangement in a CenturyLink Wire Center, with active electrical power supply, and operates a fiber-optic cable or comparable transmission facility that (1) terminates at a Collocation arrangement within the Wire Center; (2) leaves the CenturyLink Wire Center premises; and (3) is owned by a party other than CenturyLink or any affiliate of CenturyLink, except as set forth in this paragraph. Dark fiber obtained from CenturyLink on an indefeasible right of use basis shall be treated as non- CenturyLink fiber-optic cable. Two (2) or more affiliated Fiber-based Collocators in a single Wire Center shall collectively be counted as a single Fiber-based Collocator. For purposes of this definition, the term "affiliate" is defined by 47 U.S.C. § 153(1).
