Evento de Fuerza Mayor tendrá el significado asignado en la Sección 12.8. 1.23. "Formatos" tendrá el significado asignado en la Sección 12.13. 1.24. "Gobierno" significa todos los niveles y subdivisiones del gobierno (p.ej., local, regional, nacional, departamental, administrativo, legislativo o ejecutivo) de Colombia incluyendo, pero sin limitarse a entidades adscritas al ejecutivo, entidades de economía mixta controladas por entidades públicas, y otras similares. 1.25. "CCI" tendrá el significado asignado en la Sección 12.2. 1.26. "
Evento de Fuerza Mayor significa un acto de Dios incluyendo pero no limitado a, incendio, inundación, terremoto, tormenta de viento u otro desastre natural; un acto de cualquier xxxxxxxx incluyendo pero no limitado a, xxxxxx, invasión, acto de enemigos extranjeros, hostilidades (bien sea que se declare xx xxxxxx o no), xxxxxx civil, rebelión, revolución, insurrección, poder militar o usurpado, o confiscación, nacionalización, decomiso, destrucción o daño a propiedad por o bajo las órdenes de cualquier gobierno o autoridad pública o local, o imposición de sanción gubernamental, embargo o acción similar; ley, fallo, orden, decreto, embargo, bloqueo; disputa laboral incluyendo pero no limitada a, huelga, bloqueo de acceso o boicot; interrupción o falla de servicio público incluyendo pero no limitada a energía eléctrica, gas, agua o servicio telefónico; o cualquier otro evento o circunstancia más allá del control de la Parte que alegue “Evento de Fuerza Mayor”;
Evento de Fuerza Mayor actos, sucesos, omisiones o accidentes que escapen al control razonable de una de las partes. Esto incluye, entre otros supuestos, huelgas, disputas industriales, fallos de servicios públicos o redes de transporte, casos fortuitos, conflictos bélicos, disturbios, altercados civiles, xxxxx maliciosos, cumplimiento de leyes o directrices, normas, reglamentos o direcciones gubernamentales, accidentes, averías de maquinaria, actos terroristas, fallos o retrasos del proveedor de servicios de Internet, ataques de denegación de servicios, incendios, inundaciones o tormentas. Quedan excluidas (a) dificultades financieras o la incapacidad de cualquiera de las partes para obtener ganancias o evitar una pérdida financiera, (b) cambios en los precios o las condiciones del xxxxxxx, o (c) la incapacidad financiera de una parte para cumplir con las obligaciones que le atañen en virtud del presente.

  • Si un Evento de Fuerza Mayor se prolonga por un período de sesenta (60) xxxx consecutivos y no hay ninguna posibilidad razonable de que este se solucione a la brevedad, a pesar de los mejores esfuerzos de la Parte Afectada, la otra parte tendrá derecho a poner fin a esa sección de las presentes Condiciones Generales de Venta (a excepción de las obligaciones que perduren después de la terminación de este contrato) transcurridos treinta (30) xxxx desde la notificación escrita a la Parte Afectada.

  • Una vez que el Evento de Fuerza Mayor o cualquier contingencia haya sido eliminado o haya cesado, las obligaciones de Amigo Energy, de acuerdo con este documento, de suministrar el servicio al cliente serán restablecidas.

  • Amigo Energy notificará inmediatamente al cliente sobre el Evento de Fuerza Mayor, sobre cualquier contingencia resultante y sobre el efecto anticipado del mismo sobre el suministro del servicio.

  • Cathodic protection tester means a person who can demonstrate an understanding of the principles and measurements of all common types of cathodic protection systems as applied to buried or submerged metal piping and tank systems. At a minimum, such persons must have education and experience in soil resistivity, stray current, structure-to-soil potential, and component electrical isolation measurements of buried metal piping and tank systems.

  • REASONABLY SAFE FROM FLOODING Means base flood waters will not inundate the land or damage structures to be removed from the floodplain and that any subsurface waters related to the base flood will not damage existing or proposed buildings.

  • Mayor means the duly elected and acting Mayor, or in the Mayor's absence, the duly appointed and/or elected Vice Mayor or Acting Mayor of the Issuer.

  • SUD means Substance Use Disorder and refers to a condition in which the use of one or more substances leads to a clinically significant impairment or distress per the latest DSM.

  • Anaerobic digestion ’ means a controlled process involving microbial decomposition of organic matter in the absence of oxygen ;

  • Cueing means giving verbal, audio, or visual clues during an activity to help an individual complete the activity without hands-on assistance.

  • Crawling bug insecticide means any insecticide product that is designed for use against ants, cockroaches, or other household crawling arthropods, including, but not limited to, mites, silverfish or spiders. “Crawling Bug Insecticide” does not include products designed to be used exclusively on humans or animals, or any house dust mite product. For the purposes of this definition only:

  • Imminent danger to the health and safety of the public means the existence of any condition or practice, or any violation of a permit or other requirement of this chapter in a surface coal mining and reclamation operation, which condition, practice, or violation could reasonably be expected to cause substantial physical harm to persons outside the permit area before such condition, practice, or violation can be abated. A reasonable expectation of death or serious injury before abatement exists if a rational person, subjected to the same conditions or practices giving rise to the peril, would not expose the person's self to the danger during the time necessary for abatement.

  • Cosmetic Surgery means any Surgery, service, Drug or supply designed to improve the appearance of an individual by alteration of a physical characteristic which is within the broad range of normal but which may be considered unpleasing or unsightly, except when necessitated by an Injury.

  • Waterborne disease outbreak means the significant occurrence of an acute infectious illness, epidemiologically associated with the ingestion of water from a public water system which is deficient in treatment, as determined by the Division.

  • Cosmetology means any one and/or combination of practices generally and usually performed by and known as the occupation of beauty culturalist, cosmeticians, cosmetologists or hairdressers or any person holding him or herself out as practicing cosmetology in or upon a place or premises. Cosmetology shall include, but otherwise not be limited to, the following: embellishing, arranging, dressing, curling, waving, cleansing, beautifying, cutting, singeing, bleaching, coloring, or similar work upon the hair of any person by any means and with hands or mechanical or electrical apparatuses, devices or appliances or by use of cosmetic preparations, antiseptics, tonics, lotions, creams or otherwise, massaging, cleansing, stimulating, manipulating, exercising, beautifying or similar work, the scalp, face, neck, arms, hands, bust or upper part of the body, or manicuring, pedicuring or sculpting the nails of any person.
