environmentally friendly means materials or modes of construction that are Canada Green Building Council/LEED® Canada accredited. When used in this Additional Agreement, the termenergy efficient” shall mean those products or modes of construction that are Energy Star® or Canada Green Building Council/LEED® Canada rated or accredited. There will be no coverage response under this Additional Agreement:
environmentally friendly means the practice of reducing environmental degradation and pollution by making products that comply with environmental sustainability that includes minimal waste production, reusability, recyclability, composability, biodegradability and safe disposability;
environmentally friendly means products and services deemed “green” and/or eco-friendly by current business industry standards and practices (also referred to as green products).

  • Environmentally-Limited Resource means a resource which has a limit on its run hours imposed by a federal, state, or other governmental agency that will significantly limit its availability, on either a temporary or long-term basis. This includes a resource that is limited by a governmental authority to operating only during declared PJM capacity emergencies.

  • Environment means ambient and indoor air, surface water and groundwater (including potable water, navigable water and wetlands), the land surface or subsurface strata, natural resources such as flora and fauna, the workplace or as otherwise defined in any Environmental Law.

  • Contamination means the presence of, or Release on, under, from or to the environment of any Hazardous Substance, except the routine storage and use of Hazardous Substances from time to time in the ordinary course of business, in compliance with Environmental Laws and with good commercial practice.

  • Potentially hazardous food means any food or ingredient, natural or synthetic, in a form capable of supporting the growth of infectious or toxigenic microorganisms, including Clostridium botulinum. This term includes raw or heat treated foods of animal origin, raw seed sprouts, and treated foods of plant origin. The term does not include foods which have a pH level of 4.6 or below or a water activity (Aw) value of 0.85 or less.

  • Hazardous chemical has the meaning given in subregulation 5(1) of the Work Health and Safety Regulations 2011 (Cth) and includes: prohibited carcinogen, as defined in subregulation 5(1) of the Work Health and Safety Regulations 2011 (Cth); restricted carcinogen, as defined in subregulation 5(1) of the Work Health and Safety Regulations 2011 (Cth); hazardous chemicals the use of which is restricted under regulation 382 of the Work Health and Safety Regulations 2011 (Cth), including polychlorinated biphenyls; Schedule 11 Hazardous Chemicals; hazardous chemicals listed in Table 14.1 of Schedule 14 of the Work Health and Safety Regulations 2011 (Cth); Schedule 15 Chemicals; and lead as defined in subregulation 5(1) of the Work Health and Safety Regulations 2011 (Cth).

  • Hostile environment means a situation in which bullying among students is sufficiently severe or pervasive to alter the conditions of the school climate;
