Green Products definition

Green Products means products, services and practices whose manufacturing, purchase and use are considered environmentally friendly.
Green Products means products and services that have a lesser or reduced negative effect on human health and the environment when compared with competing products or services that serve the same purpose. This comparison applies to raw materials, manufacturing, packaging, distribution, use, reuse, operation, maintenance, and disposal. These products have a "Green Approval Stamp" certified by at least one of the following organizations: Green Seal, UL ECOLOGO®, the EPA Safer Choice, and the USDA Bio-Preferred.
Green Products means RECs and GPRs.

More Definitions of Green Products

Green Products means any emissions, air quality or other environmental attribute, aspect, characteristic, claim, credit, benefit, reduction, offset, certificate (including LGCs) or allowance, howsoever entitled or designated, that is recognised or arises under a Green Product Scheme, in each case resulting from, attributable to or associated with the benefits to the environment of a Renewable Energy generation facility and which is capable of being measured, verified or calculated and transferred. Green Product Scheme means each scheme, Law, policy or arrangement established or regulated by an Authority, and that provides for the recognition or creation of a Green Product, including the RET Scheme.
Green Products means any certificate or other recognition issued under a Green Initiative.
Green Products means the products of our company which enhanced environmental performance such as energy saving, resource saving, reduction of hazardous substances from current products.
Green Products means products that are environmentally certified as meeting the environmental criteria and therefore as having improved environmental characteristics at all stages of the life cycle;

Green Products means an LGC, STC, GPR and any other rights, entitlements, credits, offsets, allowances, compensation, benefits or certificates of any kind, recognised or arising under any scheme, law, policy or arrangement established or regulated by a Regulatory Authority which are or which become available to the owner or operator of any facility for the generation of electricity from a clean energy, renewable or zero Greenhouse Gas emissions source in connection with its existence or operations as a generator of electricity from a renewable, clean energy or zero Greenhouse Gas emissions source including under the Renewable Energy Act or any emissions trading scheme, carbon pollution reduction scheme or other arrangement concerned with the regulation or reduction of Greenhouse Gas emissions or other programs for the benefit of the environment.
