Tabarru’ means donation for the purpose of solidarity and cooperation among the Takaful Participants and to be used to help all Takaful Participants in times of misfortune. In the context of the Company, Tabarru’ will be allocated into the Participants’ Risk Fund.
Panchayat means an institution (by whatever name called) of self-government constituted under article 243B, for the rural areas;
MOHLTC means the Minister or the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, as the context requires;
PETE means polyethylene terephthalate, labeled by the SPI code #1.
CORA means the Colorado Open Records Act, §§24-72-200.1 et. seq., C.R.S.
WADA means the World Anti-Doping Agency.
Kerma or "K" means the quantity defined by the International Commission on Radiation Units and Measurements. The kerma is the quotient of dEtr by dm, where dEtr is the sum of the initial kinetic energies of all charged particles liberated by uncharged particles in a mass dm of materials; thus K=dEtr/dm, in units of J/kg, where the special name for the units of kerma is gray (Gy). When the materials is air, the quantity is referred to as "air kerma."
Toddler means a child at least one year of age but less than 2 years of age.
We/Us/Our means TATA AIG General Insurance Company Limited.
McDaniel means McDaniel & Associates Consultants Ltd.
WURA means the Winding-Up and Restructuring Act (Canada).
Warden means the Warden In-charge of Hall of Residence VIII and includes other Wardens of the said Hall.
seaman means any person forming part of the crew of any 6*** ship, but does not include the master of 7*[the] ship;
Lacquer means a clear or opaque wood coating, including clear lacquer sanding sealers, formulated with cellulosic or synthetic resins to dry by evaporation without chemical reaction and to provide a solid, protective film.
FTI means FTI Consulting Canada Inc.;
DARO means "days after the effective date for award of the contractual action".
MD has the meaning ascribed to such term in the Preamble.
WOj means the lowest performance (expressed as a percentage) among the Indices as determined by the Calculation Agent in accordance with the following formula: Mini = 1 to 2 Where:
Hunt means to pursue, shoot, wound, kill, chase, lure, possess, or capture or the act of a person possessing a weapon, as defined in 45-2-101, or using a dog or a bird of prey for the purpose of shooting, wounding, killing, possessing, or capturing wildlife protected by the laws of this state in any location that wildlife may inhabit, whether or not the wildlife is then or subsequently taken. The term includes an attempt to take by any means, including but not limited to pursuing, shooting, wounding, killing, chasing, luring, possessing, or capturing.
POPIA means the Protection of Personal Information Act, No 4 of 2013;
Loft means an intermediary floor on a residual space in a pitched roof; above normal floor level with a maximum height of 1.5 metres and which is constructed or adopted for storage purposes;
EMMA means the Electronic Municipal Market Access system as described in 1934 Act Release No. 59062 and maintained by the MSRB for purposes of the Rule.
Bishop means the Bishop of the Roman Catholic diocese of Leeds in which the Academy Trust Company is situated (as defined in Canon law) and includes any person exercising Ordinary jurisdiction in his name (including Vicars General and Episcopal Vicars) and any person delegated by him, including officers of the Diocese;
LODR means the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015
Parkland means any publicly owned land which is designated or used as a public park, recreation area, wildlife or waterfowl refuge or historic site.
Growler means any refillable, resealable container complying with federal law.
