Economic Net Income definition

Economic Net Income means, for any period, Combined Segment Net Income for such period excluding, to the extent added or subtracted in computing Combined Segment Net Income, (a) income and similar taxes, (b) amortization of intangible assets and (c) non-cash charges relating to the vesting of equity-based compensation, calculated in each case in accordance with GAAP and in a manner consistent with that employed in Blackstone Group’s Annual Report on form 10-K for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2009, as filed with the SEC.
Economic Net Income means, for any period, the After-Tax net income (after all Compensation Expenses) of the Esurance Segment for such period determined in accordance with GAAP, adjusted to (i) standardize investment returns at the ten-year treasury yield plus 100 basis points, and (ii) amortize policy acquisition expenses over the term of the policy and its expected renewals, in each case as determined by the Board.
Economic Net Income means, for any period, Combined Segment Net Income for such period excluding, to the extent added or subtracted in computing Combined Segment Net Income, (a) income and similar taxes, (b) amortization of intangible assets and (c) non-cash charges relating to the vesting of equity-based compensation, calculated in each case in accordance with GAAP and in a manner consistent with that employed in Blackstone Group’s Annual Report on form 10-K for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2019, as filed with the SEC.

  • Adjusted Net Income ’ means net income adjusted for non-cash expenses (income) such as amortization of intangible assets, deferred income taxes, the TSS membership liability revaluation charge, and certain other expenses (income), and excludes the portion of the adjusted net income of Total Specific Solutions (TSS) B.V. (“TSS”) attributable to the minority owners of TSS (see “Capital Resources and Commitments” section). Pre-Incentive Fee Net Investment Income does not include any realized capital gains, realized capital losses or unrealized capital appreciation or depreciation.
