Discounted Payment definition

Discounted Payment means the payment amount after application of a discount from its full charges for services offered by a hospital to patients who have no or inadequate insurance and qualify under the hospital’s discount payment policy.
Discounted Payment means that the Hospital shall limit the expected payment for Medically Necessary Services for Financially Qualified Patients to a discounted rate.

Discounted Payment means a situation where the Hospital has determined the patient does not qualify for Full Charity Care, but is eligible for a discount and is expected to pay only a part of the bill. This is a form of Partial Charity Care.
