Discounted Value definition

Discounted Value means, with respect to the Called Principal of any Note, the amount obtained by discounting all Remaining Scheduled Payments with respect to such Called Principal from their respective scheduled due dates to the Settlement Date with respect to such Called Principal, in accordance with accepted financial practice and at a discount factor (applied on the same periodic basis as that on which interest on the Notes is payable) equal to the Reinvestment Yield with respect to such Called Principal.
Discounted Value means the quotient of the Market Value of an Eligible Asset divided by the applicable Discount Factor, provided that with respect to an Eligible Asset that is currently callable, Discounted Value will be equal to the quotient as calculated above or the call price, whichever is lower, and that with respect to an Eligible Asset that is prepayable, Discounted Value will be equal to the quotient as calculated above or the par value, whichever is lower.
Discounted Value means (i) with respect to an S&P Eligible Asset, the quotient of the Market Value thereof divided by the applicable S&P Discount Factor and (ii) with respect to a Moody's Eligible Asset, the lower of par and the quotient of the Market Value thereof divided by the applicable Moody's Discount Factor.

Examples of Discounted Value in a sentence

Notes Basic Maintenance Amount So long as the Notes are Outstanding and any Rating Agency is then rating the Notes, the Issuer shall maintain, as of each Valuation Date, Eligible Assets having an aggregate Discounted Value equal to or greater than the Notes Basic Maintenance Amount; provided, however, that Section 2.03(a)(ii) shall be the sole remedy in the event the Issuer fails to do so.

For purposes of determining in clause (B) of the preceding sentence whether the Discounted Value of Moody’s Eligible Assets at least equals the Basic Maintenance Amount, the Moody’s Discount Factors applicable to Moody’s Eligible Assets shall be determined by reference to the first Exposure Period (as defined in the Moody’s Guidelines) longer than the Exposure Period then applicable to the Trust, as described in the definition of Moody’s Discount Factor herein.

As of each Valuation Date, the Issuer shall determine in accordance with the procedures specified herein (i) the Market Value of each Eligible Asset owned by the Issuer on that date, (ii) the Discounted Value of each such Eligible Asset using the Discount Factors, (iii) whether the Notes Basic Maintenance Amount is met as of that date, (iv) the value of the total assets of the Issuer, less all liabilities, and (v) whether the 1940 Act Notes Asset Coverage is met as of that date.


More Definitions of Discounted Value

Discounted Value as of any Valuation Date, shall mean, (i) with respect to an S&P Eligible Asset, the quotient of the Market Value thereof divided by the applicable S&P Discount Factor and (ii) (a) with respect to a Moody's Eligible Asset that is not currently callable as of such Valuation Date at the option of the issuer thereof, the quotient of the Market Value thereof divided by the applicable Moody's Discount Factor, or (b) with respect to a Moody's Eligible Asset that is currently callable as of such Valuation Date at the option of the issuer thereof, the quotient of (1) the lesser of the Market Value or call price thereof, including any call premium, divided by (2) the applicable Moody's Discount Factor.
Discounted Value means the quotient of the Market Value thereof divided by the applicable S&P Discount Factor.
Discounted Value means, with respect to the MRP Liquidation Preference Amount of any MRP Share, the amount obtained by discounting all Remaining Scheduled Payments with respect to such MRP Liquidation Preference Amount from their respective scheduled due dates to the Settlement Date with respect to such MRP Liquidation Preference Amount, in accordance with accepted financial practice and at a discount factor (applied quarterly on a Quarterly Dividend Date) equal to the Reinvestment Yield with respect to such MRP Liquidation Preference Amount.

Discounted Value means, with respect to any Term Loan, the amount obtained by discounting all Remaining Scheduled Payments with respect to the Prepaid Principal of such Term Loan from their respective scheduled due dates to the Prepayment Date with respect to such Prepaid Principal, in accordance with accepted financial practice and at a discount factor (applied on the same periodic basis as that on which interest on the Term Loans is payable) equal to the Reinvestment Yield with respect to such Prepaid Principal.
