Deputy Chief Officer definition

Deputy Chief Officer means, subject to the following provisions of this section, a person who, as respects all or most of the duties of his post, is required to report directly or is directly accountable to one or more of the statutory or non-statutory chief officers.
Deputy Chief Officer means (unless otherwise stated) any officer who, as respects all or most of the duties of his/her post, is required to report directly or is directly accountable to one or more of the above statutory or non-statutory Chief Officers, excluding any person whose duties are solely secretarial or clerical or are otherwise in the nature of support service. Deputy Chief Officers currently comprise Executive Managers.
Deputy Chief Officer means a person within the meaning of Section 2(8) of the 1989 Act.

  • The decision to dismiss officers at Deputy Chief Officer level and below following due disciplinary process and in accordance with the Officer Employment Procedure Rules.

  • Disciplinary action relating to posts at Deputy Chief Officer level and below not involving dismissal.
