Council Health Related Functions definition

Council Health Related Functions means those of the health related functions of the Council, specified in Regulation 6 of the Regulations as relevant to the provision of the Services as further set out in Schedule 2 including in particular the functions under Section 2B and 6C (1) of the 2006 Act;

Related to Council Health Related Functions

  • Delegated Functions means a function of the Director or the Lord Chancellor delegated to you by an Authorisation;

  • Governmental function means an activity that is expressly or impliedly mandated or authorized by constitution, statute, local charter or ordinance, or other law.   • Qualified mental health professional means a licensed medical practitioner or any other person meeting the qualifications specified in OAR 309-019-0125.

  • Chemical dependency professional means a person certified as a chemical dependency professional by the department of health under chapter 18.205 RCW.

  • Designated mental health professional means a mental health

  • Licensed mental health professional or "LMHP" means a physician, licensed clinical psychologist, licensed professional counselor, licensed clinical social worker, licensed substance abuse treatment practitioner, licensed marriage and family therapist, certified psychiatric clinical nurse specialist, licensed behavior analyst, or licensed psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner.

  • Ombudsperson means the Ombudsperson of British Columbia;

  • Home health aide services means the personal care and maintenance activities provided to individuals for the purpose of promoting normal standards of health and hygiene.

  • Safety-sensitive function means a job function or duty where a Covered Employee either:

  • Council of Ministers means the Council of Ministers of the Community established by Article 9 of the Treaty;

  • Home health agency means a person certified by medicare whose business is to provide to individuals in their places of residence other than in a hospital, nursing home, or county medical care facility 1 or more of the following services: nursing services, therapeutic services, social work services, homemaker services, home health aide services, or other related services.

  • Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) means a qualified person who evaluates employees who have violated a DOT drug and alcohol regulation and makes recommendations concerning education, treatment, follow-up testing, and aftercare.

  • Local Health Board (“Bwrdd Iechyd Lleol”) means a Local Health Board established under section 11 of the National Health Service (Wales) Act 2006 (c.42);

  • Municipal Political Party Committee means a committee organized pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:5-2.

  • Disaster Management Act means the Disaster Management Act, 2002 (Act No.57 of 2002)

  • Local Mental Health Authority means a county legislative body.

  • Licensed health care professional means a person who possesses a professional medical license that is valid in Oregon. Examples include, but are not limited to, a registered nurse (RN), nurse practitioner (NP), licensed practical nurse (LPN), medical doctor (MD), osteopathic physician (DO), respiratory therapist (RT), physical therapist (PT), physician assistant (PA), or occupational therapist (OT).

  • School function means any school-sponsored extra-curricular event or activity.

  • Public health authority means an agency or authority of the United States, a state, a territory, a political subdivision of a state or territory, an Indian tribe, or a foreign government, or a person or entity acting under a grant of authority from or contract with such public agency, including the employees or agents of such public agency or its contractors or persons or entities to whom it has granted authority, that is responsible for public health matters as part of its official mandate.

  • Professional employer organization means an employee leasing

  • Home health aide means an individual employed by a home health agency to provide home health services under the direction of a registered nurse or therapist.
