Connected World definition

Connected World means business can be done anywhere, giving companies far more choice in where to locate to maximize profitability. This puts increasing pressure on countries, such as the U.S., that have globally high corporate taxes and wage levels, as well as more regulatory oversight. Many companies are “voting with their feet” by moving to more corporate- friendly countries, where corporate tax rates are declining, unlike in the U.S. Time will tell if Brexit is a “net positive” or an outlier anomaly.
