Brokering activities definition

Brokering activities means activities pursued under contract for professional services concluded with a potential client for financial services in his name for the selection and facilitating the conclusion of a contract for financial services, however, without the right to undertake commitments in the name and on behalf of the client;
Brokering activities means actingas a broker as defined in § 129.2(a), and includes the financing, transportation, freight forwarding, or taking of anyother action that facilitates themanufacture, export, or import of a defense article or defense service,irrespective of its origin. For example, this includes, but is not limited to,activities by U.S. persons who are located inside or outside of the United States or foreign persons subject to U.S.jurisdiction involving defense articles or defense services of U.S. or foreign origin which are located inside or outside ofthe United States. But, this does notinclude activities by U.S. persons thatare limited exclusively to U.S. domestic sales or transfers (e.g., not for export or re-transfer in the United States or aforeign person).
Brokering activities means any action to facilitate the manufacture, export, reexport, import, transfer, or retransfer of a defense article or defense service. Such action includes, but is not limited to:
