Assessable premiums definition

Assessable premiums. , for home insurance, means gross direct premiums less all premiums and dividends returned to policyholders on policies written in this state as homeowners multiple peril insurance.
Assessable premiums means the direct voluntary written premiums, including F classes, for workers’ compensation insurance (exclusive of insurance provided under an excess policy for a qualified self-insured) written by a member in Michigan during a given calendar year.

  • Assessable property means property that is liable to assessment under this By-law;

  • Applicable Premium means, with respect to any Note on any Redemption Date, the greater of:

  • non-assessable means, in relation to any Plan Shares, that no further sum shall be payable by a holder of those Plan Shares in respect of the issue price of those Plan Shares pursuant to an Award made under the Plan; and

  • Single Premium means the Premium amount specified in the Schedule payable in Lump Sum at the inception of the Policy. No further Premiums are payable under this Policy.

  • Make-Whole Premium means, with respect to a Note at any redemption date, the greater of:

  • Disposable income means that part of the income due and payable of any individual remaining

  • fully paid in relation to a share, means that the nominal value and any premium to be paid to the company in respect of that share have been paid to the company;

  • Attributable Principal Amount means (a) in the case of capital leases, the amount of capital lease obligations determined in accordance with GAAP, (b) in the case of Synthetic Leases, an amount determined by capitalization of the remaining lease payments thereunder as if it were a capital lease determined in accordance with GAAP, (c) in the case of Securitization Transactions, the outstanding principal amount of such financing, after taking into account reserve amounts and making appropriate adjustments, determined by the Administrative Agent in its reasonable judgment and (d) in the case of Sale and Leaseback Transactions, the present value (discounted in accordance with GAAP at the debt rate implied in the applicable lease) of the obligations of the lessee for rental payments during the term of such lease).

  • Assessments means Claims of Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada or of any province or territory or municipality or any other Taxing Authority in any Canadian or foreign jurisdiction, including amounts which may arise or have arisen under any notice of assessment, notice of objection, notice of reassessment, notice of appeal, audit, investigation, demand or similar request from any Taxing Authority;

  • CCAA Charges means the Administration Charge and the Directors’ Charge;

  • Governmental Charges has the meaning set forth in Section 9.2.

  • Face Amount means, when used with respect to this Security, the amount set forth on the face of this Security as its “Face Amount.”

  • Applicable Prepayment Premium has the meaning specified therefor in the Fee Letter.

  • Net Finance Charges means, for the Reference Period, the Finance Charges according to the latest Financial Report(s), after deducting any interest payable for that Reference Period to any member of the Group and any interest income relating to cash or cash equivalent investment.

  • MUNICIPAL TAXABLE INCOME means the following:

  • Face Value means the specified price of the Ticket only (including United Kingdom value added tax thereon) as stated on the relevant Ticket, and excludes any Handling Fee (or part thereof) or other fees or charges paid by the Ticket Purchaser in respect of that Ticket (including postage or courier charges);

  • Delinquency means any payment under an order for support which becomes due and remains unpaid;

  • Taxes means all present or future taxes, levies, imposts, duties, deductions, withholdings (including backup withholding), assessments, fees or other charges imposed by any Governmental Authority, including any interest, additions to tax or penalties applicable thereto.

  • SLDC Charges means the charges levied by the SLDC of the state wherein the Solar Power Project is located;

  • Book Depreciation means, with respect to any Company asset for each Fiscal Year, the Company’s depreciation, amortization, or other cost recovery deductions determined for federal income tax purposes, except that if the Book Value of an asset differs from its adjusted tax basis at the beginning of such Fiscal Year, Book Depreciation shall be an amount which bears the same ratio to such beginning Book Value as the federal income tax depreciation, amortization, or other cost recovery deduction for such Fiscal Year bears to such beginning adjusted tax basis; provided, that if the adjusted basis for federal income tax purposes of an asset at the beginning of such Fiscal Year is zero and the Book Value of the asset is positive, Book Depreciation shall be determined with reference to such beginning Book Value using any permitted method selected by the Board in accordance with Treasury Regulation Section 1.704-1(b)(2)(iv)(g)(3).

  • Payment in lieu of taxes means those estimated tax revenues from real property in a redevelopment project area derived from real property that has been acquired by a municipality which according to the redevelopment project or plan is to be used for a private use which taxing districts would have received had a municipality not acquired the real property and adopted tax increment allocation financing and which would result from levies made after the time of the adoption of tax increment allocation financing to the time the current equalized value of real property in the redevelopment project area exceeds the total initial equalized value of real property in said area.

  • Value Added Taxes means such sum as shall be levied upon amounts payable to the Consultant under this Contract by any Governmental Authority that is computed as a percentage of the amounts payable to the Consultant (including all other Taxes but excluding Value Added Taxes), and includes the HST, and any similar tax, the payment or collection of which, by the legislation imposing such tax, is an obligation of the Consultant.

  • Seller’s Taxes shall have the meaning set forth in Section 5.4(a) hereof.

  • Attributable Liens means in connection with a sale and lease-back transaction the lesser of:

  • Levies means an amount in respect of Body Corporate levies, an estimate of which described in clause 6;

  • Net Premium means the premium, net of reinsurance premiums paid, HRA and GME payments, and MCO tax expenses.
