Allowable Investments definition

Allowable Investments. The Bank is hereby Authorized to invest and reinvest Cash Collateral in the following U.S. Dollar denominated investments:
Allowable Investments means, as to Affiliated Insurers, (a) any investment in Borrower, another Affiliated Insurer, or in any Agency Subsidiary, subject to any required prior approval or consent of the applicable insurance regulatory authorities; (b) real estate owned and occupied by Affiliated Insurers or Related Persons; (c) investments in real estate owned by DGC; and (d) any investments expressly permitted by the insurance department regulations and/or statutes of any state where any Affiliated Insurer is domiciled; provided, however, that notwithstanding the foregoing, (i) investments in shares of stock of real estate companies (as permitted by clause (4)(B) of Section 56-3-402, Tennessee Code Annotated) shall not be Allowable Investments; (ii) municipal or corporate debt or securities which are either not rated by Moody's Investors Service or Standard and Poor's Corporation or are xxxxx xess than Baa2 by Moody's or less than BBB by Standard and Poor's shall not be Allowable Investments; and (iii) nonliquid investments such as real estate and real estate-related entities shall not be Allowable Investments except as expressly permitted in clauses (b) and (c) of this paragraph.
Allowable Investments means for each Owner, its investment in the related Vessel, and in each case, any Restricted Payment permitted to be made by such Owner or California Petroleum and certain obligations incurred in the ordinary course of the performance of the Management Agreement.

More Definitions of Allowable Investments

Allowable Investments in Section 1.1 of the Loan Agreement, as set forth in the Original Loan Agreement, is hereby deleted in its entirety and the following is inserted in lieu thereof:

Related to Allowable Investments

  • Investment Assets means all debentures, notes and other evidences of Indebtedness, stocks, securities (including rights to purchase and securities convertible into or exchangeable for other securities), interests in joint ventures and general and limited partnerships, mortgage loans and other investment or portfolio assets owned of record or beneficially by the Company or any Subsidiary.

  • Eligible Investments Any one or more of the obligations and securities listed below which investment provides for a date of maturity not later than the Determination Date in each month:

  • Special Purpose Investment Personnel means each SEI Access Person who, in connection with his or her regular functions (including, where appropriate, attendance at Board meetings and other meetings at which the official business of a Trust or any Fund thereof is discussed or carried on), obtains contemporaneous information regarding the purchase or sale of a Security by a Fund. Special Purpose Investment Personnel shall occupy this status only with respect to those Securities as to which he or she obtains such contemporaneous information.

  • Alternative Investments means investments in the said State which are within the ability and competence of the Company or of corporations which are related to the Company for the purposes of the Companies (Western Australia) Code and which are approved by the Minister from time to time as alternative investments for the purpose of this Agreement (which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld in the case of an investment which would add value or facilitate the addition of value, beyond mining, to the mineral resources of the said State);”;

  • Performing Cash Pay Mezzanine Investments means Mezzanine Investments (a) as to which, at the time of determination, not less than 2/3rds of the interest (including accretions and “pay-in-kind” interest) for the current monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual period (as applicable) is payable in cash and (b) which are Performing.

  • Investment Accounts means the Collateral Account, Securities Accounts, Commodities Accounts and Deposit Accounts.

  • Equity Investments shall have the meaning provided in the preamble to this Agreement.
