Adult protective services program - Rules.The department shall develop, administer, and cause to be implemented a program of protective services for vulnerable adults consistent with this chapter.
Adult protective services means services provided by the local department that are necessary to
Child protective services means the identification, receipt and immediate response to complaints
Protective services means expedited services that are provided:
Abuse Investigation and Protective Services means reporting and investigation activities as required by OAR 407-045-0300 and any subsequent services or supports necessary to prevent further abuse as required by OAR 407-045-0310.
Preventive services means preservation services, as defined
Home health aide services means the personal care and maintenance activities provided to individuals for the purpose of promoting normal standards of health and hygiene.
Genetic services means a genetic test, genetic counseling (including obtaining, interpreting, or assessing genetic information), or genetic education.
Uniformed services means the armed forces, the army national guard, and the air national guard of any state, territory, commonwealth, possession, or district when engaged in active duty for training, inactive duty training, full-time national guard duty, or state active duty, the commissioned corps of the public health service, the coast guard, and any other category of persons designated by the President of the United States in time of war or national emergency.
Supportive services means those services and activities provided in con- nection with minority business enter- prise programs which are designed to increase the total number of minority businesses active in the highway pro- gram and contribute to the growth and eventual self-sufficiency of individual minority businesses so that such busi- nesses may achieve proficiency to com- pete, on an equal basis, for contracts and subcontracts.
Child support services means any civil, criminal or administrative action taken by the Division of
Administrative Services means the provision to the Fund, by or at the expense of the Manager, of the following:
Inpatient services means services provided to you as an admitted inpatient in a recognised private or public hospital for treatment that is in an included clinical category, has a Medicare item number allocated and a Medicare benefit is payable.
Pharmacy services means the practice of pharmacy as defined in chapter 18.64 RCW and includes any drugs or devices as defined in chapter 18.64 RCW.
Medically Necessary Services means those covered services that are, under the terms and conditions of the contract, determined through contractor utilization management to be:
Service in the uniformed services means the performance of duty on a voluntary or involuntary basis in a uniformed service under competent authority and includes active duty, active duty for training, initial active duty for training, inactive duty training, full-time national guard duty including state-ordered active duty, and a period for which a person is absent from a position of employment for the purpose of an examination to determine the fitness of the person to perform any such duty.
Extra Services means those services set forth in Schedule “B” that are requested by the Municipality for itself or on behalf of its citizens and provided by the Company in accordance with paragraph 7 of this Agreement;
Emergency medical services personnel means that term as defined in section 20904 of the public health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.20904.
Family support services means providing opportunities for
Hospice services means palliative and supportive care and other services provided by an interdisciplinary team under the direction of an identifiable hospice administration to terminally ill hospice patients and their families to meet the physical, nutritional, emotional, social, spiritual, and special needs experienced during the final stages of illness, dying, and bereavement, as defined in Minnesota Statutes, § 144A.75, subd. 8, and includes the set of services as determined by the Medicare program under §1861(dd) of the Social Security Act and defined in 42 CFR § 418.3.
Outpatient services means those services rendered in a practitioner’s office or in the department of an approved facility where services are rendered to persons who have not had an overnight stay and are not charged for room and board.
Basic health plan services means that schedule of covered
Development Services “Target Market”; “Investment Areas”; and “Targeted Populations” have the meanings ascribed to such terms in 12 C.F.R. 1805.104.
Emergency medical services provider means a person who has received formal training in prehospital and emergency care, and is licensed to attend any person who is ill or injured or who has a disability. Police officers, firefighters, funeral home employees and other persons serving in a dual capacity one of which meets the definition of “emergency medical services provider” are “emergency medical services providers” within the meaning of this chapter.
Habilitative services means those services provided by
PREVENTIVE CARE SERVICES means covered healthcare services performed to prevent the occurrence of disease as defined by the Affordable Care Act (ACA). See Preventive Care and Early Detection Services in Section 3. PRIMARY CARE PROVIDER (PCP) means, for the purpose of this plan, professional providers that are family practitioners, internists, and pediatricians. For the purpose of this plan, gynecologists, obstetricians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants may be credentialed as PCPs. School activities means any activity sponsored by the school including, but not limited to, classroom work, library activities, physical education classes, official assemblies and other similar gatherings, school athletic contests, band concerts, school plays and other theatrical productions, and in-school lunch periods.
