Working a Holiday. A full-time or part-time employee shall receive compensation for all hours she or he is required to work on the holiday at one-and-one- half (1- 1/2) times the established straight time rate in addition to her or his regular holiday pay. Employees can choose compensation in the form of compensatory time or paid time, consistent with the operation's service and budgetary requirements.
Working a Holiday. If your regular scheduled workday falls on a holiday, you will be eligible to take a day off later without pay within six (6) months at the convenience of you and your supervisor (i.e., Boiler Operator, Winter Pipe Patrol).
Working a Holiday. The Board of Education will pay time and one-half for all hours worked on a holiday in addition to eight (8) hours holiday pay.

If this results in the employee being compensated less than 8 straight time hours on the holiday, the Employer shall provide the difference up to two (2) hours of additional holiday hours of straight pay. The employee who desires to elect this option must notify timekeeping within the same pay period as the holiday.

Working a Holiday. Regular Full Time Employees. Nonexempt employees who work on the observed holiday, per Article 11.1, shall receive: - eight hours of pay for the Holiday plus, at the employer's discretion: -- their normal rate of pay for each hour worked on the holiday, or -- compensatory time, hour-for-hour, for each hour worked during the holiday, or -- any combination of pay and/or compensatory time which results in the employee receiving 8 hours of Holiday pay plus straight time for all hours worked on the observed holiday.
Working a Holiday. An employee who is required to work any holiday set forth in Section 14.01 shall receive their normal rate of pay and the holiday pay except that Public Safety Clerks working on Christmas, Thanksgiving, and July 4th shall be paid double-time for hours actually worked.

  • Work on a Holiday Employees required to work on days recognized as holidays which fall within their regular work schedules shall be entitled, in addition to their regular monthly salary, to compensatory time off, or to be paid in cash as provided in Articles 32.1-32.5 (Overtime). Compensatory time off or cash paid for all time worked shall be at the rate of time and one-half (1 ½). The rate at which an employee shall be paid for working on a holiday shall not exceed the rate of time and one-half (1 ½) his/her straight time rate of pay.

  • Payment for Working Overtime on a Holiday Where an employee is required to work authorized overtime in excess of his regularly scheduled hours on a paid holiday, such employee shall receive twice (2x) his regular straight time hourly rate for such authorized overtime.

  • Legal Holiday If the date on which any payment is due shall not be a Business Day, then (notwithstanding any other provision of the Notes or this Indenture) payment need not be made on such date but may be made on the next succeeding Business Day with the same force and effect as if made on the date on which nominally due, and no interest shall accrue for the period from and after any such nominal date.
