Common use of WORK OF SUPERVISORS Clause in Contracts

WORK OF SUPERVISORS. The work of Supervisors will not include assignment to work nor- mally performed by employees in the bargaining unit, except for the purpose of training and demonstration. Supervisors will not per- form employees work until after all reasonable efforts have been exhausted to have the work covered. Reasonable effort shall include calling the Local Union. Whereby it is understood and agreed that anything in the Collective Bargaining Agreement to the contrary, notwithstanding, where the Local Unions are called pursuant to Article 56, Work of Supervisors, the employees affected will receive the current casual rate for the classification of work they perform.
