Common use of Work Leader Premium Pay Clause in Contracts

Work Leader Premium Pay. ‌ It is agreed that any employee who is the successful applicant to a Workleader position under this Agreement shall be paid premium pay of five percent (5%) higher than the rate of pay, per Appendix “A”, of the highest paid subordinate within the bargaining unit who is subject to such work leadership by the incumbent, or five percent (5%) above the incumbent’s rate of pay, whichever is greater. For these purposes, the incumbent may be the permanent incumbent or a temporary replacement who has secured the position in accordance with the applicable provisions of this Agreement.
