Work in Public Ways. A. During periods of relocation, construction, or maintenance, surface impediments, if any, shall be placed and used in such places and positions within Public Ways and other public properties so as to interfere as little as possible with the free passage of traffic and the free use of adjoining properties. Franchisee shall, at all times, post and maintain proper barricades and comply with all applicable safety regulations.

Work in Public Ways. District will perform all work in the Public Way in a safe manner, including but not limited to, the use of any necessary barricades or other safety devices, and will conduct its work so as to interfere as little as possible with traffic and the use of adjoining property. Both parties agree to cooperate with each other when excavating within the Public Way so that each may share in the excavation, provided that: (1) such joint use does not unreasonably delay the work of the excavating party or unreasonably increase the excavating party’s costs; (2) such joint use is arranged and accomplished on terms and conditions satisfactory to both parties; and (3) either party may deny such request for safety reasons or if their respective uses of the excavation are incompatible.

During any period of relocation, construction, or maintenance, all surface structures, if any, shall be erected and used in such places and positions within said public ways and other public properties so as to interfere as little as possible with the free passage of traffic (vehicle and pedestrian) and the free use of adjoining property. At no time shall structures be erected or vehicles parked in a manner which impedes the ingress or egress of emergency vehicles. The Franchisee shall, at all times, post and maintain proper traffic controls and comply with all applicable safety regulations during such period of construction as required by the ordinances of the Town or the laws of the State of Utah.

  • Pavement The combined surface course, base course, and subbase course, if any, considered as a single unit.

  • Sidewalks doorways, vestibules, halls, stairways and other similar areas shall not be obstructed by Tenant or used by Tenant for any purpose other than ingress and egress to and from the Premises. No rubbish, litter, trash, or material shall be placed, emptied, or thrown in those areas. At no time shall Tenant permit Tenant’s employees to loiter in Common Areas or elsewhere about the Building or Property.

  • Restrooms The restrooms, toilets, urinals, vanities and the other apparatus shall not be used for any purpose other than that for which they were constructed, and no foreign substance of any kind whatsoever shall be thrown therein. Insulated panels, if used, shall be 1” laminated panels equal to Xxxxx Industries architectural panels with a porcelain fused-on finish. Wired or clear fire-rated glass shall be UL approved. Safety glass shall be tempered or laminated, and shall meet ANSI 297.1 standard.
