Emergency Vehicles definition

Emergency Vehicles means any publicly owned vehicle operated by a peace officer in performance of their duties, any authorized emergency vehicle used for fighting fires or responding to emergency fire calls, any publicly owned authorized emergency vehicle used by an emergency medical technician or paramedic, or used for towing or servicing other vehicles, or repairing damaged lighting or electrical equipment, any motor vehicle of mosquito abatement, vector control, or pest abatement agencies and used for those purposes, or any ambulance used by a private entity under contract with a public agency.
Emergency Vehicles means ambulances, fire service vehicles and police vehicles being used in the course of their duties
Emergency Vehicles means ambulances, fire engines, fire rescue vehicles, police cars or other vehicles responding to emergency situations.

Examples of Emergency Vehicles in a sentence

  • The request must be made in ample time before the event, since approval may be granted only by the City Council at a Council meeting.

  • While awaiting arrival of the Emergency Vehicle(s), the injured shall not be moved unless he/she is in immediate danger of additional injury in his/her current location.

  • EVP Emitter Units may be installed on and used only by Emergency Vehicles responding to an emergency as defined in Minnesota Statutes §169.01, Subdivision 5, and §169.03.

  • In the event of an award by Sourcewell for our Emergency Vehicles, we would expect to achieve an increase in sales and deliveries.

  • The “Total Award Amount” listed in block twenty six (26) on page one (1) of this contract ($404,167,776.00) is the estimated value of the five (5) year contract and represents the combined five (5) year value of all Fire and Emergency Vehicles contracts to be awarded under SPE8EC-17-R-0006, not this contract alone.

  • Contractor will give Emergency Vehicles (i.e. police vehicles, snow removal equipment, firefighting equipment, ambulances, etc.), during emergency operations, priority service over all other customers including both private and public customers.

  • If there is no emergency, Contractor will service Emergency Vehicles in their normal priority manner.

  • Should Company terminate this Agreement without Cause, Executive shall be entitled to the Accrued Obligations and the Severance Payment (as defined below).

  • This requirement shall exclude any specialized service related emergency vehicles such as Police, Medical and/or Fire Emergency Vehicles.
