Work Day Defined. 1. 7.5-Hour Workday: Each staff member will be on duty for a total of seven and one-half (7.5) continuous hours on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, which will include a thirty (30) minute duty-free lunch break. A part-time staff member’s workday will be defined as being equivalent to his/her contract percentage of the full-time 7.5-hour workday.

A part-time staff member’s workday will be defined as being equivalent to his/her contract percentage of the regular full-time 7.5unit members shall consist of eight (8) hours of work within any twenty-four (24) hours in a pre-established work schedule, exclusive of unpaid time allotted for meals except in those operations utilizing a different workday schedule such as a ten (10) hour workdaywork day.
