WAGES & ALLOWANCES. a) Upon lodgement of this Agreement, the applicable Australian Fair Pay and Classification Scale or the Federal Minimum Wage shall be taken to be the basic periodic hourly rate of pay for the purposes of this Agreement. b) The applicable Australian Fair Pay and Classification Scales are in compensation for all non-expense related allowances, including and not limited to: tool allowance, electrical licence margin, disability allowances, special allowances, construction allowances, dirty work allowances, high places allowances, wet places allowances, hot places allowances, underground work allowances, confined spaces allowances, ship repairs allowances and multi-storey allowances. c) Expense related allowances payable under this Agreement are identified in Schedule ‘A’. d) Where an employee is required to perform work at a distant location which requires the employee to reside at a place other than their normal residence, the Company and employee may agree on a living away from home allowance or reimbursement by the Company of reasonable board and lodgings incurred by the employee. e) Wages shall be paid weekly on a weekday nominated by the Company. Wages due to an employee upon termination shall be paid on the normal weekday pay day.

b) The applicable Australian Fair Pay and Classification Scales shall be paid for all employees and shall form the basic periodic hourly rates of pay under this Agreement.
