W ork W eek. The basic w o rk w eek fo r a ll fu ll xxx e em ployees shall be fo r ty (40) hours to be w o rke d in fiv e (5) e ig h t (8) hour days, not necessarily consecutive. The w o rk w eek fo r M e a t D ep a rtm e nt Heads a n d M e a t Cutters shall be scheduled fro m M o n d a y th ro u g h S atu rd a y. M eat D epartm ent Heads shall reserve the option to be reinstated in the jo u rn e y­ m an classification, w ith the exception o f m isconduct. The E m ployer agrees th a t M e a t M x x x ­ xxxx shall have a fu ll d a y o ff each w eek, exclusive o f h o lid a y weeks. They shall be g iven the o p p o rtu n ity to schedule a fu ll d a y o ff i f possible. It is fu r th e r agreed th a t the re g u la r w o rk w eek plus re g u la r ly scheduled overtim e, i f so scheduled, up to and in c lu d in g five (5) hours overtim e, shall be w o rke d in five (5) days. Each fu ll xxx e em ployee shall be guara n te e d w o rk or p a y fo r the n u m ­ ber o f hours in his (or her) basic w o rk w eek, as set fo r th above, i f he (or she) is a v a xxx b le to w o rk his (or her) schedule p ro v id e d , only, th a t the Em ployer m a y reduce, in accordance w ith the p ro v i­ sions o f this contract, the num ber o f hours( a nd, a cco rd in g ly , o f pay) o f the em ployee(s) w ith the least seniority. The Em ployer shall, each w e e k in each store, post a w o rk schedule fo r such store fo r the fo llo w in g w eek. Each em ployee, w h e th e r fu ll o r p a r t xxx e , shall be g u a ra n te e d w o rk o r p a y fo r the nu m b e r o f hours so posted. This g u a ra n te e shall be in a p p lic a b le in the event o f fire , flo o d , o r acts o f G od.
