Vacations and Optional Leave of Absence. In the event two or more employees within the same classification apply for simultaneous vacations or leaves of absence for reasons within the control of the employee during the same period of time and if the work requirements do not permit such vacations or leaves of absences, preference shall be given to the affected employees on the basis of the last date of promotion within the classification.
