Common use of UNUSED SICK LEAVE PAYOUT Clause in Contracts

UNUSED SICK LEAVE PAYOUT. A regular part-time or full-time employee with ten (10) years of continuous service will be paid the balance of his/her unused sick leave at a rate of $7.00/hour, up to a maximum of one thousand forty (1040) hours upon separation with the District.
