UNION MEMBERSHIP AND DUES CHECK-OFF. 8.01 Except as outlined in Article 3, Jurisdiction of this Agreement, all Employees who are employed by the Employer in classifications covered by this Agreement shall become members of the Union as a condition of employment. An Employee who has a religious objection to becoming a member of the Union shall be permitted to opt out of membership by providing the Union with a signed statutory declaration outlining the objections within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days from the date of commencement of employment, but such Employees shall continue to pay Union dues.
