UNION MEMBERSHIP AND CHECKOFF. 6.01 Neither the Home nor the Union shall compel employees to join the Union. Neither the Home nor the Union will discriminate against any employee because of Union membership or lack of it, and will inform all new employees of the contractual relationship between the Home and the Union. Before commencing work, any new employee will be referred by the Home to a xxxxxxx in order to give the xxxxxxx an opportunity to describe the Union's purposes and representation policies to the new employee.
