Common use of Uniforms Allowance Clause in Contracts

Uniforms Allowance. (a) Subject to sub-clause (c) of this sub-clause, sufficient suitable and serviceable uniforms or overalls shall be supplied free of cost, to each employee required to wear them. An employee to whom a new uniform or part of a uniform has been supplied by the organisation, who fails to return the corresponding article last supplied, shall not be entitled to have such article replaced without payment for it at a reasonable price, in the absence of a satisfactory reason for the loss of such article or failure to produce such uniform or part thereof.
