Common use of Transfer of Credits Clause in Contracts

Transfer of Credits. a. When an employee is reemployed by the University within 100 days, the full balance of accrued sick leave shall accompany the employee unless the employee has received a lump sum payment for accrued sick leave. If an employee has received such a lump sum payment, the employee may elect in writing, upon re-employment, to restore the employee's accrued sick leave. Such restoration will be effective upon repayment of the full lump sum leave payment.
