Training Failure a. A Flight Attendant who fails to pass a written, oral, CBT, or hands- on test in training will be given additional instruction in those areas which she/he failed as well as other areas followed by a re-test or the Company may at its discretion require the Flight Attendant to repeat the entire training event. b. Any Flight Attendant who fails to complete a required training event, or portion thereof, shall be placed on unpaid non- disciplinary Not Qualified (“NQ”) status and shall remain in this status until she/he has successfully completed the required training, including any checking, necessary to return her/him to Qualified Status c. If the Company is unable to provide the required training within a thirty (30) calendar day period measured from the training event failure, a Flight Attendant will be placed on non-disciplinary Not Qualified Paid (“NQP”) status beginning the thirty-first (31st) day after the training failure until the required training is provided. d. Failure of the Flight Attendant to attend the first available training offered by the Company will result in her/his retention on, or return to, unpaid NQ status until she/he completes the required training and returns to Qualified Status and may result in disciplinary action. The Company will not require a Flight Attendant to attend the training on a previously awarded Scheduled Day(s) Off, without her/his consent. A Flight Attendant who does not consent to attend training or a check ride on a previously awarded Scheduled Day(s) Off shall remain in unpaid status until she/he completes the required training/checking necessary to return to Qualified Status. e. If a Flight Attendant has two (2) training failures (exclusive of Check Rides) in any eighteen (18) month period of Active Service she/he may, at the Company’s discretion, be terminated. Nothing herein shall preclude a Flight Attendant from filing a grievance over discipline related to a training failure.
Training Failure a. A Crewmember who fails to complete a Recurrent Training event successfully will be provided additional Training in the area of deficiency as determined by the TRB. b. If Training is initial, transition or upgrade and a successful bidder fails to qualify, he may be returned to his former Crew Class and Type and will be provided requalification Training in accordance with the Company's FAA-approved Training program. If his former Type is no longer a part of the Company fleet, he will be given his second Training attempt. c. If the Crewmember elects and the Company agrees, a second Training attempt may be provided to qualify at the initial, upgrade or transition Training.
Training Failure. Upon receiving a transfer to a different classification, each regular employee will be given an opportunity to learn, in an orderly sequence, all phases of the work necessary to carry out his job. Orderly sequence means attending the Company’s applicable basic courses in appropriate order or by receiving on the job training, (OJT). In the event a regular employee does not satisfactorily complete a basic training course or cannot demonstrate the ability to perform the necessary job tasks through OJT within thirty (30) calendar days as outlined above, the Company shall return the employee back to their original position.
Training Failure. In case the trainees in conformity to the agreed standards have not reached the agreed ratio at the completion of the training, Party B has the right to ask for extra training within reasonable time till the training reaches the standards.

Related to Training Failure

  • Work Week The work week will begin at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday and end at 11:59 p.m. the following Saturday.

  • Work Day The standard work day shall be eight (8) consecutive hours of work exclusive of a lunch period in a consecutive twenty-four (24) hour day.

  • Holidays Worked When an employee works on a calendar holiday, he/she shall receive payment of the holiday at the regular rate and in addition, at the discretion of the Employer, (1) be paid at the rate of time and one half for hours actually worked on the holiday or (2) be given compensatory time off equal to one and one half the number of hours actually worked.

  • Unsafe Work Conditions No Employee shall be disciplined for refusal to work on a job which in the opinion of: (a) A member of a safety committee; or (b) A person designated by a safety committee; or (c) A safety officer after an on-site inspection and following discussion with a representative of the Employer, does not meet the standards established pursuant to the Workers' Compensation Act.

  • Drug-Free Workplace Certification As required by Executive Order No. 90-5 dated April 12, 1990, issued by the Governor of Indiana, the Company hereby covenants and agrees to make a good faith effort to provide and maintain a drug-free workplace at the Project Location. The Company will give written notice to the IEDC within ten (10) days after receiving actual notice that the Company, or an employee of the Company in the State of Indiana, has been convicted of a criminal drug violation occurring in the workplace. False certification or violation of this certification may result in sanctions including, but not limited to, suspension of payments under the Agreement, termination of the Agreement and/or debarment of contracting opportunities with the State for up to three (3) years. In addition to the provisions of the above paragraph, if the total amount set forth in the Agreement is in excess of $25,000.00, the Company agrees that it will provide a drug-free workplace by: A. Publishing and providing to all of its employees a statement notifying them that the unlawful manufacture, distribution, dispensing, possession or use of a controlled substance is prohibited in the Company’s workplace, and specifying the actions that will be taken against employees for violations of such prohibition;
