Common use of Trade Union Training Leave Clause in Contracts

Trade Union Training Leave. Paid leave may be granted up to a maximum of 12 days in any period of two years to a staff member to attend short trade union training courses or seminars conducted by or with the support of the ACTU on the following conditions:

Trade Union Training Leave. Paid leave may 48.1 (a) An employee nominated or nominating to attend trade union training shall be granted up to a maximum of 12 five (5) days paid leave per annum, by agreement. Up to ten days may be granted in any period of two years to a staff member to attend short trade union training courses or seminars conducted by or with one calendar year provided that the support of total leave being granted in that year and in the ACTU on the following conditions:subsequent year does not exceed ten days.
