Termination by DMMHA. MANDATORY 13-II.A. OVERVIEW HUD requires the DMMHA to terminate the lease in certain circumstances. For those tenant actions or failures to act where HUD requires termination, the DMMHA has no such option. In those cases, the family’s lease must be terminated. This part describes situations in which HUD requires the DMMHA to terminate the lease.
