Common use of TERM OF MASTER CONTRACT Clause in Contracts

TERM OF MASTER CONTRACT. The term of this Master Contract shall be from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020 (Title 5 California Code of Regulations section 3062(a)) unless otherwise stated. Neither the CONTRACTOR nor the LEA is required to renew this Master Contract in subsequent contract years. However, the parties acknowledge that any subsequent Master Contract is to be renegotiated prior to June 30, 2020. In the event a Master Contract is not renegotiated by June 30th, an interim contract may be made available as mutually agreed upon for up to 90 days from July 1 of the new fiscal year. (Title 5, California Code of Regulations, Section 3062(d).) No Master Contract will be offered unless and until all of the contracting requirements have been satisfied. The offer of a Master Contract to a CONTRACTOR is at the sole discretion of the LEA. Requests for renegotiation of any rate, including but not limited to, related services for the subsequent contract year, are to be submitted in writing to Orange County Department of Education, Special Education Division, 000 Xxxxxx Xxxxx, P.O. Box 9050, Costa Mesa, CA 92628-9050 prior to January 31, 2020.
