Temporary Work in a Higher Position. An employee temporarily assigned the full duties and responsibilities of a higher salary level position for more than two (2) days shall be paid five percent (5%) above the employee’s hourly rate or the first step of the higher classification, whichever is the greatest, retroactive to the first day of the temporary assignment.
