TEMPORARY LEAVE OF ABSENCE. 1. A leave of absence without pay for up to one (1) calendar year will be granted to a teacher for the purpose of caring for a sick member of the teacher's immediate family. Additional leave may be granted at the discretion of the Board. 2. After three (3) years of continuous employment in the Rolling Hills School District, a teacher may be granted a leave of absence, without pay, for up to one (1) calendar year for health reasons. Requests for such leave will be supported by appropriate medical evidence.
