Common use of Temporary Employees (as defined by Section 64 of Civil Service Law) Clause in Contracts

Temporary Employees (as defined by Section 64 of Civil Service Law). In the event that it becomes necessary for the Superintendent of Schools to question the services or activities of a temporary employee, no limitations as to termination of services, such as those provided for permanent employees under the Civil Service Rules and Regulations, are required. A temporary employee may be terminated at any time by the appointing officer, without the necessity of showing cause for such termination. It is agreed that any employee, as defined above, shall not have the right to seek relief pursuant to the grievance and arbitration procedure of this Agreement.
