Surveying and Base Mapping. Xxxxxx Xxx will provide topographic and base mapping services. Xxxxxx Xxx will compile a strip map of the levee and bike path area for the Xxxxxx City Levees suitable for completing the design process and producing contract documents for public bid and construction. This map will be utilized as a project base map and will show the bike path, adjacent surface elevations, City property lines, levee easement lines, existing levee elevations and their relationship to the location of the adjacent private improvements. This mapping will be used throughout the project. A scope of services to provide City-wide ortho-rectified digital aerials will be furnished under separate cover.

Surveying and Base Mapping. Xxxxxx-Xxxx will lead a kick-off meeting with the Client to review and establish the project goals and objectives. Xxxxxx-Xxxx will then perform a site visit and coordinate with the Town and the project survey team, Calvada Surveying and Util Locate, to obtain base information and document existing conditions. Survey will be limited to the identifying water, gas, electric, communications, sewer and storm drain utility lines excluding irrigation. Spot elevations will be taken on all surface utilities, utility paint marks, and at the edges of grass/turf fields. Trees over six (6) feet in height will also be located regardless of caliper. Flow line invert elevations and sizes of drain inlets, sanitary sewer and storm drain manholes within the site will also be collect unless bolted down or full of debris.

Unless otherwise agreed, Purchaser shall re-cut high stumps so they will not exceed heights specified in A6 and shall dispose of severed portions in the same manner as other logging debris. The xxxxx heights shown in A6 were selected with the objective of maximum reasonable utilization of the timber, unless Sale Area Map shows special areas where xxxxx heights are lower for aesthetic, land treatment, or silvicultural rea- sons.
