Substitute Positions. Employees shall be permitted to apply to be placed on the District’s substitute list, so long as any substitute assignment they seek does not conflict with their regular work schedule. For substitute work, those on the substitute list shall be paid the base rate for the classification in which they are substituting. The current substitute list will be made available electronically.

Substitute Positions. When substitutes are needed during the regular school year or summer school, a bargaining unit member who is currently in that classification or who has qualified as a substitute for that classification shall have first priority at substituting in that position. The substitute assignment cannot coincide with the employee’s regular schedule and work hours.
