Substitute New Hires. Except in the case of an emergency, substitutions on any given performance shall not exceed twenty percent of the orchestra. Substitutions shall be permitted, provided that a qualified substitute is provided and that the substitute audits at least one performance.

  • Substitute Teachers In lieu of salary under the Basic Salary Schedule, the District shall pay to teachers employed on the basis of the teacher being available for service if and when called upon by the District, and known as Substitute Teachers, an allowance of $217.04 per day of teaching effective September 1, 2011. Half days will be paid at 50 per cent of the full day allowance.

  • Substitute Work Unit members on the layoff list may sign up for day-to-day substitute work with the Personnel Office indicating sites at which they are willing to work.

  • New Hires All newly-hired employees will be eligible to join the benefit plans and the calendar time waiting period will apply equally to all. The prorata percentage for new hires will be based on the schedule of work for which these employees are hired. This percentage will be revised, if necessary, once the employee has worked a full predetermined six (6) month period. The only exception to this calculation will be an employee who successfully bids or otherwise obtains a seventy-five (75) hour bi-weekly position. In this instance an employee who qualifies will immediately receive entitlement of one hundred percent (100%) of the Employer’s paid share of premiums and benefits, and holiday pay.

  • Substitute Checks You agree not to deposit any substitute check or similar item that you have created, or for which no financial institution has provided any substitute check warranties and indemnity.
