Software application review. Task 5.1 focusses on Code Usability and Documentation Assessment. This activity involves engagement between end-users and code developers to improve the usability of research codes and systematic evaluation of documentation provided to support end-users in deployment and use of the applications. This has been undertaken using internal CompBioMed applications as exemplars of best practice, with guidance on best practice made available to the community through the stakeholder engagement activities. For example, the HPC software Alya has been improved with more validation examples and new functions through a close collaboration between BSC and UOXF. As an end-user, UOXF deployed Alya and performed simulations of the 3D electromechanics of the human heart on different supercomputers, including LRZ SuperMUC-NG and CSCS Piz Daint, and provided feedback to BSC. Opportunities to identify exemplars that highlight innovative aspects of CompBioMed applications (e.g. HPDA techniques and application scaling) will be considered to link this task with other activity in the Work Package.

  • Validation Review In the event OIG has reason to believe that: (a) Good Shepherd’s Claims Review fails to conform to the requirements of this CIA; or (b) the IRO’s findings or Claims Review results are inaccurate, OIG may, at its sole discretion, conduct its own review to determine whether the Claims Review complied with the requirements of the CIA and/or the findings or Claims Review results are inaccurate (Validation Review). Good Shepherd shall pay for the reasonable cost of any such review performed by OIG or any of its designated agents. Any Validation Review of Reports submitted as part of Good Shepherd’s final Annual Report shall be initiated no later than one year after Good Shepherd’s final submission (as described in Section II) is received by OIG. Prior to initiating a Validation Review, OIG shall notify Good Shepherd of its intent to do so and provide a written explanation of why OIG believes such a review is necessary. To resolve any concerns raised by OIG, Good Shepherd may request a meeting with OIG to: (a) discuss the results of any Claims Review submissions or findings; (b) present any additional information to clarify the results of the Claims Review or to correct the inaccuracy of the Claims Review; and/or (c) propose alternatives to the proposed Validation Review. Good Shepherd agrees to provide any additional information as may be requested by OIG under this Section III.D.3 in an expedited manner. OIG will attempt in good faith to resolve any Claims Review issues with Good Shepherd prior to conducting a Validation Review. However, the final determination as to whether or not to proceed with a Validation Review shall be made at the sole discretion of OIG.

  • Software Upgrades Software Upgrades consist of new product releases which are issued periodically and may include new functionality, enhancements, and bug fixes. Software Upgrades are provided only for standard hardware platforms and operating systems supported by COMSPOC as described in the Documentation. Software Upgrades will apply only to unmodified Software and commercially released updated versions of the Software. You are responsible for making or arranging for updates to interfaces for nonstandard devices or custom applications. Software Upgrades are provided subject to the terms and conditions of the then current and applicable COMSPOC Software License Agreement, available on COMSPOC’s website at xxxx://xxx.xxxxxxx.xxx/sla or with the deliverable Software or upon request. All major product releases and maintenance releases will be made available and may be shipped directly to you, upon request by contacting your COMSPOC point of contact or xxxxxxx@xxxxxxx.xxx.   • Software Components At any time during the contract period of performance, the Government may require the Contractor to remedy any failure of the software to comply with the requirements of this contract. Support shall consist of correction of errors, provision of modifications, improvements, and other products the original manufacturer makes available to the Government without charge. The Government shall also be provided full documentation of changes and/or modifications to the software provided to meet the Government's requirements.

  • Software Use Case Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Supported on physical hardware solely to support virtual quests. Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization is designed to run and manage virtual instances and does not support user-space applications. Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization may be used as a virtual desktop infrastructure solution, however, the Subscription does not come with any software or support for the desktop operating system. You must purchase the operating system for each instance of a desktop or server separately.

  • Design Review At appropriate stages of design, documented reviews of the design results shall be planned and conducted. Participants at each Design Review shall include representatives of all functions concerned with the design stage being reviewed, as well as other specialist personnel, as required. Records of such reviews shall be maintained. Any computer software used to perform alternative calculations or verify clearances through the use of scale models or computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) techniques shall be validated before the use of the application, with validation documented in accordance with Section 2.2.15. In addition, at each submittal to IFA for review, Developer shall provide hand calculations that validate any calculations performed by computer software.

  • Program Review The Contracting Officer or other authorized government representative may hold semi- annual program review meetings. Such meetings will be held via telecom or video teleconferencing. However, the Government reserves the right to request a meeting in person. The meetings will include all BPA holders, representatives from prospective customer agencies, a combination of current and prospective customer agencies, or individual BPA holders. Some Federal Government Agencies and any approved State, Local and Tribal agencies may establish a central program management function. Such users may require their primary suppliers to participate in agency program review meetings on a periodic basis, at no additional cost to the Government.

  • Personnel File Review a. A unit member has the right upon his/her own request to review the contents of his/her personnel file.
