Sleep. Don’t forget these students are probably living on a normal sleep schedule and may not want to stay up until 3:00 a.m. Many will have ap- pointments with faculty members and/or have admission interviews early the next day – we want them to be awake during these appointments! Also, while it is certainly fine to introduce your prospective student to your significant other, please do not have your partner spend the night in your room with your guest. Some students may feel uncomfortable with this situation. Finally, please refrain from public displays of affection in front of your guest as they might be put in an uncomfortable position.
