Common use of Sick Clause in Contracts

Sick. i. Employees on contract who are scheduled work thirty (30) hours or more per week earn one (1) day per month of sick leave (12 per year). Employees may accrue up to twelve (12) sick days during their first year of employment. After completing twelve (12) months of employment, employees who are scheduled to work thirty (30) or more hours per week shall earn two (2) sick days per month and may accrue up to twenty (20) days per year. No more than one hundred (100) sick days may be accumulated. ii. Employees hired on or after July 1, 2015 who are scheduled to work thirty (30) or more hours per week earn one-half (0.5) day per month of sick leave (6 days per year). Employees may accrue up to six (6) days during their first year of employment. iii. After completing twelve (12) months of employment, employees hired on or after July 1, 2015 and who are scheduled to work thirty (30) or more hours per week, earn one (1) day per month (12 days per year).
